I have read a lot about Doulos but have never visited it. So, I was overjoyed when I knew it is docking in Singapore in mid November 2006. Most importantly, I want to make sure my kids do not miss this rare chance to visit the floating book fair, on board the world’s oldest active ocean-going passenger ship, as recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records.   

               

My children were thrilled to realize that they can browse and purchase books on board a ship, in addition to the book shops in Shopping Malls.  Although the internet is widely used these days, it is amazing to note that over 18million visitors, around the world have been welcomed on board.  There is a wide selection of books, ranging from children books, motivational, self enrichment books, to religious materials. I especially salute the crew members and respect the mission of Doulos, that is, “Bringing Knowledge, Help and Hope to the people of the World”.   I strongly recommend a visit to this unique book fair.

I was glas to have attended the Internet Marketing Seminar conducted by Mr Stephen Pierce. 

He was here on 15 Nov 2006 to promote the World Internet Summit 2006. In that seminar,

he uncovered 12 profits making strategies, namely:

1. Subcription profits
2. Post leads profits
3. Direct sale profits
4. Pay per click profits
5. Advertising profits
6. Pyramid profits
7. Affliate profits
8. License profits
9. Post sales profits
10. Blog profits
11. Auction profits
12. Daisy chains profits

Apart from these, he also talked about how we can do research and create a product to be sold in the internet.

There was so much information to absorb in that 2 hours. I was delighted to take a picture with him, but I blinked.

 Inspiration of the Week

I can still remember the first time I heard the Jim Rohn quote above. It was the fall of 1994 and I had just ordered and received my first copy of Jim’s program “The Art of Exceptional Living.” Things were different for me then. I was living in a 2 room cottage on St. Petersburg Beach. The rent there was $350/mo and it was a constant struggle to pay it on time. There was no money to buy any luxuries, in fact most weeks luxury consisted of food and cable TV. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe I am describing a situation similar to yours right now. Let me tell you how things changed for me…

First, I decided that I was not going to live that way anymore. In short, I decided to change. Change my mind. Change my associations. Change what I did to earn my money. Change the things I spent my money on. Pretty much, I changed everything except my spiritual beliefs.

And you know what?  Once I began to make those changes, all of my results changed for me. And I promise that if you undergo similar changes it will work for you too!
